Jazz Festivals - Newport

California is a state known for its beaches, its warm weather, and its celebrities. However, since 1993, it has also become popularly known as the home of the Newport Beach Jazz Festival.

For the past 10 years, the Newport Beach Jazz Festival has been entertaining local, national, and international jazz fans under the big, bright California sun. The popular festival features some 40 artists over a fun-filled 2-day period.

When? The Newport Beach Jazz Festival takes place during the first week of May. Two days of music entertain audiences from 10 in the morning until 9 at night.

Where? Although named after its original location of Newport Beach, the festival was moved three years ago to Irvine, California. The beautiful Hidden Valley is the most recent setting for the festival. It is located next to the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater and Wild Rivers Water Park. Set against a backdrop of hills, this spacious grass area allows music lovers to enjoy the sights and sounds.
